An epic story with a fast paced plot! Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Once I was finished, I was left wishing the next book was out already. The characters are well fleshed out and you will find yourself picking your favorite, I’m sure. Have you ever read a book where you weren’t sure which outcome you wanted most? That is exactly how Absolution felt to me, so many choices to be made and trying to pick the correct one is harder than you did think. The writing was done nicely for a debut author, a pleasant surprise. I’ve always loved fantasy fiction and this took it to a whole new level. It had romance included but didn’t feel cheesy. I found myself staying up late at night trying to figure out what was happening next. I thought about these characters long after I finished the book. Hurry up Book 2! I can now say I’m a fan of Rachelle Storm.

I’m generally an audiobook person because I have a hard time sitting still long enough to get through a physical book quickly, but this one I couldn’t put down. It was somehow exactly what I needed right now and hit all the right spots. I’m going back to read it again slower so I can annotate it and gather my thoughts on it so I can gush to my friends about it. I can’t wait for the next ones to come out!

The perfect mix of fantasy and supernatural! Gave me total Twilight vibes which I loved.
It was such a fun easy read that I couldn’t put it down. Give me three immortal brothers any day!! Really hope book 2 comes out soon because I need more, more, more.

"You know when you sometimes read a synopsis of a book and you get an idea in your head of how the story is going to go? Well, this one blew me away. It was truly surprising. First we have elementals (of sorts) and that’s one of my favorite kinds of magic ever (Huge Avatar the Last Airbender fan here) and then we have a fast paced, easy to read, almost like a movie feel to the story. It was so effortless to imagine what was going on, and what every character looked like. There was action, humour, and even enough romance to suit my little fluffy heart. I read it so fast (once I got started) and I’m now finding myself waiting for the next book. Don’t miss out if you are looking to clock out of the world for a while and just have some fun."

This book was great for any fans of paranormal/fantasy type fiction. It was an easy read but didn’t lack depth which I’ve found some books of the same genre to do. The story hooks you quickly and keeps you intrigued and wanting to know more. The characters are all developed well and you can definitely find a character to relate to. I really liked the character of John the most and related to him quite a bit. Those looking for a character they can rally behind and be a “team member” for (example: team Jacob/Edward from the twilight saga) you can absolutely find a character to get behind and root for in this series! I only wish the book was longer so I could continue the adventure with these characters, but I can’t wait for the next one!"

This is the modern day twilight-style fandom I didn’t know I needed in my life!! I haven’t been so enraptured in a fantasy novel like this since Harry Potter, and the hopeless romantic inside me is absolutely in love with this story! I CANNOT WAIT for the second book, hopefully their website will update with book two soon!

I so enjoyed this book. When I had finished reading it, I continued to think about all the characters, the plot and thrilling supernatural action! And the end, omg! Cannot wait for the next book in the series. Ready to pre-order now!

An easy read with lots of excitement and depth. It kept me up at night because I couldn't stop reading it. I am sad to be finished with it and can't wait for book 2. If you like fantasy and paranormal books. This one is for you!
